Greenwich based, Charter Realty & Development Corp., along with its partner Benderson Development are pleased to announce the sale of their Freedom Mall in Rome, New York. Located at the intersection of Erie Boulevard (SR 26,46,49) & South George Street (SR 46) this 185,900 square foot center is anchored by Tops, JCPenney, Staples. Other tenants include Eckerd, Dollar Tree, and Dominos Pizza.

The group purchased the mall in 1998 and completely redeveloped it from a partially enclosed mall. The center was renovated and a new Tops and Staples were then built. The property sold to Developers Diversified Realty for $10,450,000.
