Greenwich, Connecticut based Charter Realty & Development Corp. is pleased to announce that it has leased 25,000 square feet to Home Goods and 20,000 square feet to Staples (Co-Broke, Atlantic Retail) in the former Ames in Big Y Plaza in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts.  A World Class Big Y anchors the 110,000 square foot plaza.  It is located at the intersection of North Main Street (Route 83) and Harkness Avenue in East Longmeadow.  Big Y owns the center.  There are 178,949 people within 5 miles.  Both Staples and Home Goods expect to open this year.

 

This deal represents one of 20 Ames stores that Charter Realty has successfully relet in the past 18 months.
