Leases Former Shaw’s Store in Saco, ME to Renny’s

Greenwich, Connecticut based Charter Realty & Development Corp. is pleased to announce that it has leased 36,750 square feet in Saco, Maine to Renny’s Department Store. The Plaza is located on Scammon Street and totals 196,000 square feet. Renny’s is a 12-store chain selling general merchandise in Northern New England. Renny’s will be occupying a store that is currently a Shaw’s. Shaw’s will be relocating into the former Ames space in the same center. Shaw’s purchased the designation rights for the Ames lease in Bankruptcy Court earlier in the year. Charter represented Shaw’s Supermarket in the transaction.
