Greenwich, Connecticut based Charter Realty & Development Corp. along with Metro Commercial have signed two leases with Petsmart. Petsmart leased 24,500 square feet of space in Benderson Development’s shopping center in Plattsburgh, New York. Petsmart will be joining Wal-Mart, Marshall’s and T.J. Maxx.
Petsmart also leased 22,000 square feet in Nanuet, New York. The center is owned by American Continental Properties. The space was previously occupied by The Wiz. Petsmart acquired the lease out of bankruptcy.
Petsmart is the nations largest pets supply chain. Charter Realty handles their expansion in parts of New York State.
