Greenwich, Connecticut based Charter Realty & Development Corp. is pleased to announce that it has leased 51,240 square feet to The Mill Stores in Stratham, New Hampshire. The space was previously occupied by Ames and is located on Portsmouth Avenue. The deal was co-broked by the Triad Group. Charter represented Shaw’s Supermarkets who acquired the Ames designation rights. The Mill Stores currently operate 12 stores throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine and is New England’s largest unfinished furniture retailer. The Mill Stores plan to open in August.
