Charter Realty Leases 65,000 sq. ft. to Shaw's in
Burlington, VT
Greenwich, CT - December 28, 2001 - Greenwich, CT based
Charter Realty & Development Corp has leased 65,000 sq. ft. to Shaw's
for a new store in Burlington, VT. Construction will begin shortly in
place of a vacant mall and a former Grand Union store. The property is
owned by Acadia Realty Trust and is located at the intersection of I-189 and
Route 7 in South Burlington. the store represents the second Shaw's
recently being built in the Burlington Area, the other is located in
Williston. This store will replace a Grand Union of 31,000 sq. ft.
that Shaw's took over earlier this year.
Charter has now completed 10 deals with Shaw's
throughout the Northeast.
