CHARTER REALTY & DEVELOPMENT AWARDED LEASING RIGHTS TO 8 PROPERTIES AMOUNTING TO A TOTAL OF 782,308 SF
Charter Realty & Development Corp. has been awarded a contract to handle the leasing of several retail properties in the states of Massachusetts, Maine and Rhode Island.
These properties include:
- Cushing Plaza (Cohasset, MA): Located on 739 Chief Justice Cushing Highway. Cushing Plaza has a gross leasable area of 71,070 square feet. The community shopping center is anchored by a Shaw’s Supermarket and Walgreens (with drive-through pharmacy) along with several other tenants.
- Hannaford Plaza (Waltham, MA): Located on 55 Russell Street, Hannaford Plaza has a gross leasable area of 45,882 square feet and total parking space of 212.
- Hanover Square Plaza (Hanover, MA): Located on 55 Columbia Road, Hanover Square Plaza has a gross leasable area of 57,181 square feet and is anchored by a Shaw’s Supermarket. There are 369 parking spaces in the plaza, and daily traffic of 15,000 vehicles on Columbia Road.
- Shaw’s Plaza (Easton, MA): Located on 690 Depot Street, Shaw’s Plaza has a gross leasable area of 104,923 square feet. The plaza has a total of 609 parking spaces and it is anchored by Shaw’s Supermarket. Other tenants include Citizen’s Bank, Rite Aid, Coopers Jewelers, New Nails & Spa, Anytime Fitness, Easton Real Estate, and Bank of America. Available spaces are 1,916 square feet, and 1,690 square feet, respectively.
- Shaw’s Plaza (Plymouth, MA): Located on 20 Pilgrim Hill Road, Shaw’s Plaza has a gross leasable area of 59,766 square feet and it contains a total of 403 parking spaces. The average daily traffic in the area is 35,800 vehicles. The Plaza is currently exclusively occupied by Shaw’s Supermarket.
- Marketplace Center (Warwick, RI): Located on 320 Warwick Avenue, Marketplace Center has a gross leasable area of 200,000 square feet. Retailers of the shopping center include: Bed, Bath & Beyond, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Weight Watchers, Michael’s, Jo-Ann Fabrics, and Newbury Comics. Available spaces are composed of 58,635 square feet and 3,344 square feet, respectively.
- Shaw’s Plaza (Waterville, ME): Located on 251 Kennedy Memorial Highway, Shaw’s Plaza contains a gross leasable area of 119,015 square feet and a total of 575 parking spaces. Average daily traffic amounts to 19,320 vehicles. Tenants of the plaza include: Shaw’s Supermarket, Sun Tan City, Maytag Superwash, Empire Beauty School, Curtainshop, Flagship Cinemas, and Applebee’s. Current available spaces are 2,000 square feet, 2,000 square feet, 4,000 square feet, and 5,523 square feet, respectively, added by an expansion area of 10,000 square feet.
- Shaw’s Plaza (North Windham, ME): Located on 770 Roosevelt Trail, Shaw’s Plaza has a gross leasable area of 124,331 square feet. Parking composes a total of 495 spaces. The plaza is anchored by Shaw’s Supermarket, CVS pharmacy, and Staples. Other tenants include Kennel Shop, GNC, GM Pollack Jewelers, and Fashion Bug. The plaza is conveniently located in the vicinity of Wal-Mart and Lowe’s.
