James F. Pointer
James F. Pointer has been active in real estate brokerage since December of 1985. Since 1991 has focused primarily on commercial/ industrial and investment real estate.
Jim, a native of Lancaster, PA, graduated from Shippensburg University with a BS in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing. He became a licensed realtor in 1985 and earned his Brokers license in 1992. Other educational studies accomplished include courses in property management, investment and leasing as well as the GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) designation.
Jim’s past experiences include the position as a Commercial Leasing and Property Manager where he managed the overall operation of the commercial property portfolio consisting of office, retail, medical and industrial properties. From there he became a partner, and the broker of record of a real estate firm involved in the brokerage and management of residential and commercial/ industrial real estate. During this time Jim was involved in numerous renovation projects both residential and commercial. Since May of 2000, Jim has been associated with NAI Commercial Industrial Brokers, Inc, most recently NAI Commercial Partners, Inc. as an independent Associate Broker.
In August 2008 Jim Joined Charter Realty as an Associate Broker responsible for the leasing of retail properties and shopping centers in Pennsylvania.
In addition, Jim has been involved in the development and rehab of properties both as a broker and principal. He has also started, operated and continues involvement in several businesses.
